Apr. 3, 2011. Thurston County, SR 8 westbound. This is a 2 or 3 mile stretch of the road with no power lines or homes, the high point in the road where the Grays Harbor and Puget Sound drainage basins border each other. The old Hicklin stagecoach road was near this route.
